Glastonbury Festival Gets Bigger and Greener with National Express

Music fans rejoice! National Express, the official coach travel partner for Glastonbury Festival, has announced a significant expansion of its services for the 2024 event. With 34 new departures added, festival-goers from 109 locations across the UK can now enjoy a convenient and affordable way to travel to Worthy Farm.

This increase represents a 20% jump in passenger capacity compared to 2023, highlighting the growing demand for sustainable travel options. National Express remains committed to this by offering comfortable coach travel with return tickets starting from just £31.50.

For added convenience, a pop-up coach station will be situated a mere 100 meters from the festival gates. This means less lugging of camping gear and more time to soak in the festival atmosphere.

"We understand the importance of reliable and affordable travel, especially for major events like Glastonbury," said John Boughton, National Express Commercial Director.  "With our extensive network and modern coaches, we're proud to be the green and savvy way to get to the festival."

National Express goes a step further in reducing its environmental impact by introducing a fleet of double-decker electric shuttle buses running between Bristol Bus Station and Worthy Farm.

These zero-emission vehicles offer a comfortable ride while contributing to a cleaner festival experience.

Tickets include a generous luggage allowance, making packing for the festival a breeze.
