SINGLE REVIEW - AFTER - HOLLOW

" After. "a Post-Hardcore band from Brighton! Now I don't know about you, but Brighton just seems to be a birthplace for talent - from the likes of Royal Blood all the way to Architects *Insert Blegh here*, so I am not the least bit surprised that another band has surfaced and is ready to take the music scene by storm.

This 4 piece Post-Hardcore band, has debuted with their latest tune "Hollow". Now for any of you "I, the mapmaker", "Holding Absence", "Palm Reader" or *Secret* "Pierce the Veil" lovers, y'all need to jump on this - the riffs are ever changing, from absolutely pit starting, round house face crushing - to arms in the air sing along, right back into windmills.

Lyrical wise and vocal delivery wise this reminds me of "Oceans Ate Alaska" (Jake Era) so much! Even more with the Southampton band "Placeholder" (s) vocals, with that oh so classic emo touch!

All in all, Post-Hardcore is a genre that will never leave and I'm happy to see that these lads, have chosen this genre - I don't think I'd be able to enjoy this any other way, all 4 have tremendous amounts of talent, which isn't hard to hear the moment you listen! This band is going places, nothing in my mind would ever doubt it.

Give this beauty a fat ol' spin!
