Single Review - Griever - Onslaught

Griever, goth bois from Bournemouth that make you black your eyes and slap flour on your face! This 4 piece was born in 2012 and since then have toured the world on 2 eps and 3 singles. They deserved every ounce of recognition they got.

So warm up for some mosh pit moves at home and let's get into this meaty tune!

"Onslaught" already makes you curious as to how they could possibly make it even heavier, however - never underestimate what they can do. On this track they start off with a Low af build up to a "F***ING GO" and wow, this could not make me wanna swing any more than it does! Straight off the bat, you know this is an instant classic.

The chorus is so melodic that it's easily recognised as them - a no substitute for who these men were, for such a heavy tune, this is elegant - classy even.

The verse just jumps Straight back into "SUPER MOSH TIME!" Delivering low vocals that could rattle your teeth.

The breakdown is one that gives off that old vintage Metal core sound we once knew. Complete with a BLEAGH, no one would be left standing if this were played in a battle.

Anyway, it's sad to have to end the review here, these lads mean a lot to me and their band has been so amazing both times I saw them live.
