#VoicePeople - Rosie Fulton

Who are you? What do you do at Voice and how long have you been involved?

I’m Rosie, I present the Saturday Breakfast Show with Matt. I’ve been involved with Voice since around February 2019.

How did you get involved in Voice and what made you want to volunteer?

I’ve always loved radio, and one day I decided to put my heart and soul into an email to the station manager, who which then asked me to come on in!

What is it you love about being involved?

I love being involved with Voice because it enables me to really pursue my passion for all things radio and social media. It’s enabled me to meet my wonderful co host Matt, and has really boosted my confidence into other activities. It has lead to some awesome opportunities for myself and Matt.

Apart from your own what other shows do you listen to?

I listen to Simon’s show, I think he’s got a real good way of including so many interesting things in his show.

My favourite thing in Southampton is when they light up Guildhall Square in beautiful colours… I also really love that we have a Taco Bell!

My favourite music ranges, I’ve got such an open taste. I really love, The 1975, Sam Fender, but then I also really enjoy classical music, songs that are really emotive.

My favourite film is Drive, with Ryan Gosling. The music in it is absolutely incredible, and also the way it’s shot and the story it tells is amazing.
