Dorset and Hampshire Parkinson's communities are being invited to try a free Pickleball taster in September

People living with Parkinson’s in Mudeford and the surrounding areas of Dorset and Hampshire are being invited to join a new free Pickleball taster session which is aiming to help more local communities live well with the condition.
When: Wednesday 16 September from 10am to 12pm
Where: Advantage Padel, Christchurch Business Park, Mudeford, Dorset, BH23 4FL
Delivered by the team from Advantage Pickleball in Mudeford, the free taster session is designed to help more people with Parkinson’s try Pickleball in a fun and social way, with all ages and abilities welcome to attend.

An experienced instructor can take participants through the basics of playing the sport and all equipment is provided on-site. The taster session forms part of a wider four-week programme to help more local people with Parkinson’s to get active across the region. Carers and relatives are welcome to join in or watch, and teas, coffees and snacks are also available in the club’s cafe/bar before or after the session.
Participants are recommended to wear comfortable active wear and footwear appropriate for playing pickleball and to bring bottles of water, snacks and any medication they may need on the day.
