“To provide a safe and secure environment, with training and development facilities, for students and people within the local community enabling them to progress within their media career. This includes people of all minorities, social backgrounds and disabilities.

Through our efforts to break down social barriers we contribute to a happier, healthier and more skilled community.”

About

Voice FM is a station that is truly local to Southampton, broadcasting from within the YMCA Youth and Community Centre on Graham Road.

We are a not-for-profit company which is run almost entirely by volunteers. Voice FM broadcasts 24/7 on 103.9FM across Southampton, online at voicefmradio.co.uk, via TuneIn and we are in the process of expanding our reach, by working with Ofcom, to broadcast on a local DAB multiplex.

We work closely with local businesses, organisations and charities on a regular basis and love to promote what’s happening in the community.

As a result, we are proud to be supported by Domino’s, Radio Taxis, Homelife Lettings, Solent University, The 1865, the Wessex League, The Real Greek, the Mayflower and The National Lottery Community Fund, to name just a few.

By supporting Voice FM, you are not just supporting a radio station but also the communities, small businesses, organisations and charities that it is involved with.
