The listeners of Southampton’s Voice FM have crowned the first No.1 in the South Coast Music Chart.
With over 3000 votes the top two positions were separated by 3 votes, and at 17:40 on Sunday, 15th January, chart show presenter Ryan Galpin, announced that Ryan Doyle and Yasmin Dyer were No.1 with “Cry For Love”
“To be the first Number 1 on the South Coast Music chart is a such a personal success for me,” Ryan Doyle told Voice FM.
“Having been in the top 15 tracks of 2022 on the show, following that up with Number 1 in the chart shows how much the audience and my growing fanbase like and support my music; and for that, I’m forever thankful!”
“In 2023 I have so much music coming, starting with the first single in a couple of weeks and I can’t wait to share it with everyone!”
“Again, thank you for everyone who voted, Ryan, The South Coast Music Show & Voice FM, your support is immeasurable and I’m so thankful!”
This joyous feeling was also shared by Yasmin Dyer.
“To be No.1 in the South Coast Music Chart is super exciting,” she said. ”It’s such a great start to my journey and it’s really helped me to push on and keep creating music.”
“First of all in the top 15 of 2022 but then to become No.1 in the charts is crazy to me, it shows that the audience is liking what I am creating and hopefully will continue to do so. My journey is only just starting and I’m so excited to see what’s next!”
