Happy Chinese New Year to you! it's the year of the Rabbit, a lucky one and if it is your year, our guest Martine Niven from the UK Shaolin Centre in Southampton, says you should wear red and gold.
There are plenty of events happening in Southampton City Centre this year, and full details are below, but what does the Chinese New Year mean to the people from that country, and how do they celebrate?
We interviewed Martine as Southampton's UK Shaolin Centre are putting on the festivities with Southampton Council, and she explains not only what is going on, but how to say "Happy New Year" if your are from the north or south of China.
