Have your say about Southampton's response to Climate Change and transport.
Southampton City Council, the University of Southampton and public participation charity Involve, are hosting Citizens’ Assemblies on climate change and transport.
Citizens’ Assemblies bring an inclusive and diverse set of people together, engage them in informed, and safe deliberation and provide recommendations to decision-makers on complex issues.
They want you to take part and mould our future.

The Southampton Citizens’ Climate Assembly is a joint initiative by Southampton Council, University of Southampton and Involve. Happening in Autumn/Winter 2023, the assembly will bring together a diverse and reflective group of Southampton citizens to explore the issues and engage in a safe discussion, with the aim of helping to inform decisions around climate change and transport in the city.
The events we are inviting you to above are not the assembly itself; they are to help inform the question the assembly will address and the evidence it will hear.
There will be further opportunities for you to get involved with the assembly later in the year. If you have any questions about the meetings or the assembly, please do get in touch at rebootingdemocracy@soton.ac.uk
