
Shaping the present and future of the maritime industry
Maritime UK Solent (MUKS) is inviting everyone with an interest in the region’s thriving maritime sector to register for its series of events taking place this month, many in partnership with Strategic Partners and free to attend.
The packed programme shines a spotlight on the diverse range of themes which are shaping the present and future of the maritime industry - from technological transformation and sustainability to female leadership and innovation.

Key highlights include:
- South Coast and Green Tech Boat Show (9-11 May) - Returning to Ocean Village Marina in Southampton, Strategic Partner MDL Marinas brings together this show of industry-leading green tech innovators and the latest environmentally friendly boats and equipment.
- There will be the opportunity to connect with other maritime professionals at Maritime UK Solent’s May Network Meeting, at the South Coast and Green Tech Boat Show, on 9 May.
- Energy Ventures Accelerator Expo (13 May) - Hosted by Strategic Partner, Associated British Ports and Plug and Play is at the Royal Institution in London, this event will showcase clean energy innovation and solutions, with a focus on how maritime and offshore sectors can accelerate the journey to net zero.
- WISTA UK Solent Networking Event (20 May) - In celebration of International Day for Women in Maritime 2025, this event at Carnival House, Southampton, will highlight the achievements of women across the maritime world and explore the future of gender equality in the sector.
- Clean Maritime Expo (21 May) - Taking place at Bournemouth University, this event will explore the future of maritime decarbonisation with leading voices from industry, academia, and government.
