From Monday 19th May to Wednesday 21st May

On 19–21 May, the Pint of Science festival will simultaneously bring thousands of scientists and their research out of the lab and into pubs, cafes and community halls near you.

The three-day festival has grown astronomically since its inception, and 2025 will see events in over 25 countries and hundreds of cities around the world. Each night will provide a unique line up of talks, demonstrations and live experiments held in a relaxed and informal environment.

Southampton University researchers will be speaking at venues across the city. Tickets are available from the Pint of Science website, costing just £5 each.

Alongside the main talks, audience members will be able to take part in the largest ever multi-city pub quiz - in association with interactive quiz company, KwizzBit. Teams will tackle science-themed trivia and go head-to-head with other cities interactively, in the hope of claiming the top spot in their city and across the UK.
