Local Festival to start an exciting new Partnership

TriFest, a local festival in Bitterne Park, is starting an exciting new partnership with Benana Music Studio to help secure the success of the popular festival.

TriFest is a free local community event held on Riverside Park by Cobden Bridge and is now in it 4th year. The festival is run by volunteers with support from many local businesses based in and around the Bitterne Park area.

Anthony Nicholls from the Butcher’s Hook who helps with Design and Marketing of the festival said

“We have had a few challenges over the years including terrible storms and of course Covid 19 but this year we needed someone to run the music side of things”

Festival Coordinator Paul Jenks said

“You can’t have a festival without a bit of music. And to be in partnership with Benana is great news. As a free festival we couldn’t manage without Benana’s generous support and expertise.”

Ben and Anna, the owners of Benana Music Studio said
“We are thrilled to be linking up with TriFest. It’s a well established local festival showcasing some of the amazingly talented musicians in the area which we hope will encourage more people to take up the chance to learn an instrument”.

TriFest will be 12-7 pm Saturday 19th July on Riverside Park next to Cobden Bridge. The festival has a bit of everything including local bands, craft stalls, local traders, community organisations, games, a dog show, a beer tent, food stalls - all the things you need for a fun afternoon in the park!
