Southampton's Mayflower Theatre has partnered with Theatrical Lydia's Pay It Forward 9/11 Campaign to run a food bank drive coinciding with the upcoming run of the hit musical "Come From Away."
The initiative aims to honor the show's themes of kindness and community by collecting non-perishable food donations for Feed the Community Foodbank.
Theatregoers are encouraged to bring an item to donate during the show's week-long run, from April 16th to 20th. This drive is inspired by the real-life acts of kindness displayed in the Newfoundland town that became an unexpected stopover for thousands of airline passengers on 9/11.
