Earth Day team announce their four themes for the year ahead
An email arrived yesterday from Earth Day.org - reminding us that today is Earth Day, in fact the 57th Earth Day, the 57th reminder that we need to do something about the environment.
For the rest of the year the team at Earth Day will be working on these four themes
- Connecting Plastics to Human Health: Advancing the health information that connects personal exposure to policy change.
- Fighting Fast Fashion: Educating consumers about the effects of the fashion industry on our health and planet.
- Defending Environmental Laws: Providing the data and legal advocacy needed to protect the EPA’s ability to regulate pollutants.
- Promoting Climate Literacy in Schools: Ensuring the next generation of voters isn't just concerned, but informed and ready to lead and fill the green jobs of the future.
