Current No.1 in Voice FM's South Coast Music Chart

Not only has Jazzy Paige topped Voice FM’s  South Coast Music Chart for 5 weeks with ‘Pretty But Not’, the 12 year old Porchester singer has also reached the final five of the The Young Songwriter 2026.

Speaking to Voice FM about this double feat she said “It feels amazing to be on south coast radio, especially getting to No1 on 3 separate occasions. It means so much that people love what I have written and they take time out of their day to vote for me. It enspires me to write more.”

As for getting to the final 5 of the UK Young Songwriter of the Year competition, Jazzy was naturally surprised: “I never would have guessed this would happen and it makes me feel really proud of myself that people can connect with it.”

The song explores issues facing many young people in the UK, some estimates say a million young people are struggling with mental health issues.

Jazzy explained to Voice FM the inspiration behind her lyrics: “I wanted my song to make people feel better about themselves as bullying happens a lot. I wrote the last 4 lines to hopefully get that message across. It says you are beautiful in your own way and no matter how you feel, try to be brave and keep moving forward.”
